Fallout: Season 1 released on 4K Blu-ray a few days ago, but you can already get a nice deal at Amazon. Normally $40, Season 1's 4K release is up for grabs for only $30. To be clear, this is a standard edition with a plastic case, not the Limited Edition Steelbook. The latter sold out shortly after preorders opened in April and briefly returned around launch last week for $43. And unlike some steelbook editions, it's truly limited edition, according to Amazon, and was only "available while supplies last."

With limited-edition Blu-rays, there's always the chance it receives a reprint down the line, but the way Amazon handled preorders for the standard 4K edition makes it seem like supplies could indeed be gone for good. Amazon waited until mid-May, after the the Steelbook sold out, before listing the standard edition for the same price ($40). The absence of a price difference between the two suggests the steelbook case was essentially an early preorder bonus. Or maybe it will be restocked tomorrow--no one can really say for sure.
