Fortnite Got A Lot Messier This Year https://ift.tt/OnyYgkS Epic has spent the past few years trying as hard as it can to will the Fortnite metaverse into being--and now, at the end of 2025, it's actually starting to look like it's getting there. Things are still very messy, but Epic's moves in that direction--which frequently seem to involve trying random things just to see what happens--may have finally borne fruit. Back at the end of 2023, Fortnite attempted to usher in its metaverse in earnest by launching Fortnite Festival, Rocket Racing, and Lego Fortnite all at once. It didn't quite work, because all three were half-baked and missing key features. The only way to play Racing was in Ranked, Festival lacked instrument support and still doesn't have a practice mode, and Lego Fortnite had the feel of a generic early-access survival game wearing Lego clothing. Two years later, we've got a much prettier picture, but not because Epic went all in on those modes...
Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves is easily the best film adaptation of the legendary tabletop game franchise to date, and if you're looking to add it to your Blu-ray collection, you can grab a new 4K steelbook Blu-ray version on January 20, 2026. This is a reprint of the 2023 release of Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves on 4K Blu-ray--but unlike that older version, the digital streaming key included in the new 4K Steelbook edition will still be valid. Preorders are available for $37 at Amazon.
The Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves Steelbook Edition includes a 4K UHD cut of the film with Dolby Vision and HDR10 support, as well as a Dolby Atmos soundtrack. The steelbook case features unique artwork of the classic D&D logo on the front and the rear, and on the inside, a silhouetted image of the film's cast as they cross a stone bridge in the Underdark. This version also includes numerous bonus materials, such as deleted scenes, a gag reel, a numerous featurettes.
Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves special features
In case the steelbook sells out, you can get the standard 4K release of the movie for $15 at Amazon. This release includes the same special features on the disc, though it's likely the digital streaming code in this version will have expired by now.
A critical hit--but sadly not a commercial one--Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves was praised for its ensemble cast, vibrant worldbuilding, and its faithful adaptation of the tabletop game. Starring Chris Pine, Michelle Rodriguez, and Hugh Grant, the movie tells the story of a band of thieves and adventurers on an epic heist to retrieve a lost relic and save the day.
