Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 is set to launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC on October 23 and the first preorders are now live. PS5, Xbox, and PC players can secure early copies of the $70 standard edition or the $100 Vault Edition, which includes a slate of bonus digital content. Nintendo Switch 2 preorders will open at a later date. Unfortunately, due to Xbox's recent changes to Game Pass, it will not be available on the service. However, preordering the game in advance of its October 23 release date grants you early access to the upcoming multiplayer beta later this year. There are also some retailer-exclusive preorder bonuses available as well. Here's a look at each version of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 available to preorder, and where to find them.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 Preorder Bonuses
As mentioned above, preordering any version of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 will get you early access the multiplayer beta happening later this year. Dates for the beta have not been disclosed. You'll also unlock the Hunter Killer Operator Skin for Call of Duty: Warzone and Black Ops 7, which is immediately usable in those games once you've redeemed it.
Along with those universal preorder bonuses, there are also retailer-exclusive perks on offer. For physical edition bonuses, Best Buy is offering an exclusive steelbook case featuring unique wrap-around art when you preorder the standard edition of the game. Meanwhile, Amazon is offering a five-hour 2XP bonus item if you preorder there. No other retailers have announced preorder bonuses, but we'll update this section if anything else is confirmed.

This edition is only available digitally, however you can purchase a Xbox/Windows key via Amazon. It's also available on the Xbox Store, PlayStation Store, and Steam. Xbox, PS5, and Steam players who own a previous CoD release and plan to grab the Vault Edition can also save 10% on this version, dropping the price to $90 (was $100). The discount applies to any Xbox, PSN, or Steam account with Modern Warfare, Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered, Black Ops Cold War, Vanguard, Modern Warfare II, Modern Warfare III, Black Ops 6, and Black Ops 7.

Infinity Ward announced Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 on May 28, calling the new game "a return to form" and "darker and more dangerous" than ever before, while promising to bring "long-running storylines to a powerful and emotional breaking point."
