Since his first appearance in 1999's Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace, the former Dark Lord of the Sith has become one of the series' most popular characters and has appeared in several video games over the years. Even though Maul has never starred in his own game, his current voice actor believes there is a chance to tell an "incredible" story if given the chance. In an interview with Discussing Film , actor Sam Witwer shared that he would love to see a Maul video game happen someday. "I've become convinced we could do an incredible story, yeah," Witwer said. The cover star for EA's inaugural EA Sports FC game--which replaces the FIFA series in terms of branding--has reportedly been leaked.

Internet super sleuth billbil-kun reported that 22-year-old Manchester City striker Erling Haaland will be the cover star for EA Sports FC 24's standard edition. This report follows a story earlier this week that supposedly revealed the release date for EA Sports FC 24.

The leaker opted to not share a photo of Haaland on the cover due to copyright concerns, VGC reported, but said the cover shows him in a Champions League game, preparing to fire off a shot.
