The chance to revisit the earliest version of the game was wildly popular with players, and now reports are emerging that Fortnite OG will be returning on a permanent basis starting in December. Fortnite leakers ShiinaBR and HypeX were the first to report the news. The first 10 seasons of Fortnite, which collectively make up Chapter 1, are said to be returning on a monthly basis, and only the OG loot will be supported. Additionally, both Fortnite's battle royale mode and Zero Build modes will be incorporated into OG. When Fortnite OG launched in 2023, over 44.7 million users logged in to play , which marked the most popular single day in the history of the game. Atlus showed off an exciting new trailer for Metaphor: ReFantazio during Summer Game Fest. If you haven't preordered your copy of the upcoming RPG, you can get bonuses or even a collector's edition (while supplies last). If you're a longtime Atlus fan, the collector's edition will likely appeal to you, as it celebrates 35 years of Atlus history.

The studio has been on fire lately with its Persona games and various other entries in the JRPG genre, and its next title, Metaphor: ReFantazio, has an official release date of October 11 locked in. With development being led by several Persona veterans--including director Katsura Hashino, who has led the Persona franchise through its most successful era so far--this could be the start of a major new franchise for Atlus and its publisher, Sega. Metaphor: ReFantazio preorders are live now at major retailers. If you're interested in picking up the collector's edition, you'll want to act fast. Though the PS5 version is currently sold out at all retailers, you can preorder the Xbox Series X edition at Best Buy, Walmart, or GameStop.
