According to a sales tracker posted by Sensor Tower , GTA 6's PlayStation 5 presales are outnumbering Xbox Series X|S a ratio of more than 3:1. However, Xbox's Chief Strategy Officer Matthew Ball has refuted a report that Microsoft is unhappy about those sales numbers. In a message posted on X , Ball wrote, "We are very happy with GTA 6 pre-orders. The sale runs from Wednesday, December 11 until Saturday, January 4, 2025, and each day there will feature a new, limited-time Star Deal. The first deal is a whopping 79% off Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot Legendary Edition, dropping it to just $25.19 instead of its normal $120 price. This version includes the base game a collection of DLC content that includes new story content and stat-boosting items. This price will only be available until December 12, after which a new Star Deal will take its place.

As for the deals that will be available throughout the sale, some highlights include Ace Combat 7: Skies Unkowm for $5.39 (was $60), System Shock remake for $14 (was $30), and V Rising for $18.19 (was $35). You can even grab the recently released Indiana Jones and the Great Circle for $58.79, which is a decent discount from its normal $70 price tag.
